In my personal opinion Sony is really leaving money on the table and not fully serving their customers by creating their own elite controller. Even during the entire PS4 lifespan we only got an attachment for extra inputs from Sony at the very end of the PS4's lifespan. The back button attachment has been very well received in the PS community and I feel like it left people wanting more. Sadly that thing is sold out everywhere and price gouged all over for the remaining units still floating around. I really hope Sony takes the new DualSense controller for the PS5 to new heights!
