We rescued Sal and Sonny from the streets in Brooklyn, and fostered them in our bathroom until they were ready for adoption together as a pair. Every year during kitten season (roughly April October), hundreds of volunteers around New York City foster kittens to help overcrowded shelters. If you’re wondering about the mom cat, there is a second part to this story coming soon, where we found/fixed her and discovered a few more friends at this colony.
