I went on my first solo backpacking trip to get a taste for what it's like, and I wanted to share the experience! It was a short and sweet trip perfect for testing out all of my brand new gear, and getting a feel for what I'll be able to do in the future.

The trail I ended up doing in Virginia is called Mount Rogers and Appalachian Trail Loop.
