Solidworks torsion analysis of Beam | Shear stress u0026 Twist angle Calculation

Shear stress and twist angle of a shell type box beam will be calculated using torsion analysis of a beam with solidworks simulation module.
The beam has length of 1500 inch and square cross section of 150 inch. Beam is fixed at one end and subjected to torque of 300 lbin to free end.
We will do followings steps in soldiworks simulations.
Make surface model of box beam
Start solidworks structural simulations
Define new material
Assign thickness using shell definition
Assign fixed support & Torque to free end edges
Create mesh and run simulation study
Evaluate shear stress on XZ and YX plane
Evaluate total deformation
Calculate twist angle of beam using standard formula that will be shown in video
