Sojou our 6 year old Alaskan malamute made a rare appearance in the basement to hangout with me and the kids. As this is very endearing it also is not a good idea to leave any dog alone while the children are playing or even when I am supervising on this occasion. We use our Alaskan Malamutes as therapy dogs and an educational aid I do not want the children to feel too familiar so they fully understand that they can not play with dogs exactly the same way as with their human friends.
