Our Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin recipe cooks in 2 4 hours, then is basted with a delicious balsamic reduction. Cook it on low for 2 hours for sliced pork medallions or about 4 hours for tender balsamic glazed pulled pork. You'll love it served with the onions and delicious cooking liquid, topped with more balsamic reduction. If you love tender, flavorful pulled pork, this is a delicious dish that doesn’t take the whole day to cook!

This slow cooker pork tenderloin recipe uses one tenderloin that's about a pound, and will serve 3 4 people. It comes two to a package, and is sold in a 4 pack at Costco for about $18. Double the recipe to serve more people. And this recipe is for a pork tenderloin, which is smaller and more lean than a pork loin, they’re different cuts of meat. This pork tenderloin is going to take 2 4 hours to cook on low in the slow cooker. A pork loin will take about 4 6 hours on low.

Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin Recipe Ingredients
1 lb pork tenderloin
1 10 oz can of chicken broth
1 large onion
3 4 garlic cloves
salt and pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin Recipe Directions
Trim the pork tenderloin of any silverskin, using a sharp knife to remove it. Season the pork with salt and pepper, then sear it on all sides in a large skillet over medium high heat with about a tablespoon of avocado or olive oil.

Chop a large onion into large slices. I keep the pieces large so they don’t break down too much as they cook in the slow cooker. Peel and roughly chop the garlic.

Add the onion to the bottom of the slow cooker. Rest the seared pork tenderloin on top. Add one 10 oz can of chicken broth and toss the garlic on top. Cover and cook this on low in the slow cooker for about an hour.

At about an hour, begin preparing the balsamic glaze. In a medium saucepan, combine ½ cup brown sugar with 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and whisk this together. Add 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce and ¼ cup or 4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar. Whisk the mixture, and heat over medium heat, bringing it to a boil and cooking for about 5 minutes until the balsamic glaze has thickened.

Turn the tenderloin over in the crockpot, and spoon some of the glaze over the top. Cover and continue cooking until done. For serving in medallion slices, look for a temperature around 145. To serve as pulled pork, I like to cook the pork until it is very tender and easily pulls apart, after about 4 hours.

This step is optional, I like to glaze the pork with more of the balsamic and pop it under a high heat broiler for a few minutes to get almost a candied crust. Shred the meat, top with more delicious balsamic glaze and the cooking liquid and serve! This is so flavorful and juicy! It tastes amazing and I hope you get a chance to try it!

Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you in the next video!
