One of Ficus’ endearing qualities is no matter how sleepy he is or busy playing or just staring out the window, he’ll answer when you talk to him. It makes me wonder how much of what i’m saying he understands. He can really be talkative.

Ficus was about 3 months old when we rescued him. Months later we found out that he was a Japanese bobtail. This breed is known for its very pleasant playful nature, is affectionate and highly intelligent. He also adapts well as a solo cat and knows how to play by himself. He’s quite a fun cat to have.
