Sharing with you my thoughts on the SKII Facial Treatment Essence after seeing the sponsored post issues from Michelle Phan to other influencers and some drugstore SKII Essence dupes.

Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in todays video I want to share with you my thoughts on the SKII Facial Treatment Essence and some of the issues emerging from their relentless sponsored content here on YouTube.

I have been seeing a lot of sponsored content for the SKII essence and the recent video by Micelle Phan was particularly problematic for its use of filters in the thumbnail and reading the script which the brand clearly demands for all its influencers.

In truth the SKII essence is overpriced when there are some other amazing drugstore dupes on the market which will give you the same great outcomes at a fraction of the cost. It is for this reason that SKII skincare insist that influencers dont mention the price of their products in the sponsored videos which is such a shame as nobody should feel that skincare is a luxury as it really isn't.

I am not against sponsored content, whilst I choose not to do sponsored videos on the channel, I know that for some content creators they are a good source of income and something which supports their channels. My issue with the SKII ones is they seem forced and bought which is not something I would support.
