If you're having issues with inconsistent power on your plastic track, this might be a great solution, particularly if you have a permanent or semipermanent installation. Covering the metal rails with copper tape (and trying to avoid too many breaks) will smooth out power delivery and likely eliminate the need for jumpers. The key is getting tape with conductive adhesive and having some patience. The results are worth it!
