In this video, David demonstrates how to single handedly undock this Bali 4.1 catamaran boat med moor sternto the most common style of docking in the Mediterranean. Before departing, make sure you unplug your electricity cord from the dock, take in your water hose, pull in your gangway and ensure your dinghy is secured. One of the most important things to keep in mind is to rehearse your departure prior to leaving and to remain calm and calculated throughout the process especially if you are short or singlehanded maneuvering your boat. This will ensure you can do undock confidently and safely. Sometimes as a captain, instead of setting your inexperienced crew up for failure, it's easy to just do things yourself so there are no issues or scrambling around the boat with ropes and fenders.
