Tourist Visa

To apply for Singapore Tourist Visa, you need to approach a certified Travel Agent or ask a local Singapore Resident to apply for you online.

The cost comes out to approximately 2500 INR and you can get a visa validity of anywhere between a month and 2 years.

Cruise: There are cruises available from India but they can be a little expensive.

Flights: You can get direct flights to Singapore from most cities. From Delhi, it took me around 20k INR for a return flight by Vistara. The flight journey was around 5.5 hours and included meals, drinks, entertainment, and more.

SIM Card in Singapore

At the airport, you will find lots of SIM card options available. Personally, I bought Singtel for $15 hi!Tourist 2in1 SIM Card

This offers 100GB for 28 days along with 3 GB roaming data for traveling to Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, or Thailand. You also use this card for using the MRT and buses in Singapore, it comes with 3 SGD values in it.

Forex Card or Cash or Credit Card

If you have a credit card and debit card enabled for international transactions, then you can use that at most places for paying.

Apart from that you can get SGD in cash from India from BookMyForex, they offer the best forex cash rates most of the time and the process is quite simple too. Or you can get a Forex card from them as that's cheaper than buying Forex cash.

➡How to Travel in Singapore

Metros Singapore is wellconnected with MRT stations and it can cost you up to 2 SGD to reach a destination.

Buses Singapore also has a good bus network and the charges are similar to metro travel but it will take you longer to reach a destination.

Cabs Of course, cabs are expensive and you can expect to pay around 20 SGD for a 1015 km distance.

Expect to spend around 5001000 INR on transportation every day.

Where to Stay in Singapore

Hotels The cost of the hotels depends on when you are visiting but expect to spend around 25003500 INR per person for a night.

Hostels Hostels are not cheap in Singapore so expect to spend around 15002500 INR per night here.

Where and What to Eat in Singapore

Bugis Bugis Street is home to many street vendors where you can try some local delicacies that cost 8 SGD or less and are super filling.

Hawker Centers For cheap local delicacies, Hawker Centers are the perfect places to eat in Singapore. A meal here will cost you anywhere between 5 and 15 SGD.

Malls If you are exploring malls, you will get all the fast food joints like McD, Starbucks, and where you can easily spend 1020 SGD on food.

Restaurants Of course, if you choose to eat in a restaurant, you can expect to spend around 3040 SGD per person for a meal if not more.

Shopping in Singapore

Of course, if you are traveling to Singapore, then you might be interested in buying some clothes, accessories, or electronics as well. Now, shopping in Singapore is not particularly cheap unless you are visiting Bugis Street, Chinatown, and similar places.

There are many attractions and activities in Singapore that you can visit or try. Most of the attractions charge an entry fee of 800 3500 INR.
