♦ Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4: Vampires (Part 1)

Hello everyone! Here's the first part of a little vampire comparison among the 3 latest Sim games.

Vampires were introduced in Sims 2 in the Nightlife expansion and ever since they've been one of the most expected creatures in The Sims series, recently they've made a comeback in Sims 4 (I know I'm again late for the hype but whatever :P) with many more abilities than the others.

Now, BEFORE you start telling me I missed powers, death, etc etc please notice this is part 1. Now, in the next video then feel free to let me know if I forgot something...which I hopefully won't but the more I make these the more I realize the game's have a hell lot more detail than I could imagine.

Okay, so I underestimated vampires, I thought, this video would be 8 minutes long at MOST but here I am 2 weeks later with 30 minutes worth of content... So I divided it, there's no way in hell I'm making a 20 plus minute video, hopefully it'll be just 2 parts so I'll try to shorten it as much as I can and I'll upload it within next week.

So here I'll just talk about vampires but it's worth mentioning that Sims 4 made a game pack specially for vampires while the others included them in expansions that were destined for the nocturne life, such as Nightlife and Late Night, so one would've thought that they should've been included in City Living (or was it just me?) so just like toddlers they added way more interactions and opportunities than the previous versions, but that doesn't necessarily make them better, so here's the comparison. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Please don't forget to vote for your favorite ;)

My Opinion?
Sims 2: Again was the first one to include the creatures of the night into the game and I remember having a lot of fun with them, but they were quite a challenge since only half of the day they could be actually outside so even though it made the game challenging it also made me lose a lot of my vampires just because they had to work to keep food on the table, so they're sort of a weakness if you ask me, a very fun weakness.

Sims 3: Here vampires were a good balance between the challenge and the fun, you could go around hunting and turning everyone into vampires without dying in the daylight BUT it wasn't easy to use powers all the time. I liked the additions supernatural brought to vampires because vampires in late night were too modern for my liking.

Sims 4: Has great depth into vampires, the new ranking system is something unique and fun. I really like the fact that you can't just get perks but also get weaker the more you advance, once you're in the top you look at how much your vampire has to take care of and realize it's more of a curse than a blessing, but well, that's vampires for ya! I have to say out of the 3 this one's my favorite, not only because of interaction but the freedom they gave by making different vampire styles, I've always liked sims 2's vampires because of their formal attire so this really made them perfect for me.

But that's just my opinion
