In this video I want to show you how to paint elegant, loose landscape paintings using acrylics. Using the concept of Less is More you have endless possibilities to create the mood and feeling you want using different colors and simple design.

Complimentary colors and mark making tools is a great combination and make for a good warm up exercise. Use them as a way to loosen up and discover new ideas.

Complimentary colors include; Green vs Red, Blue vs Orange and Yellow vs Purple.
Remember: use contrast and get attention (opposites attract)
Dark vs light
Thin vs thick
Big vs small
Soft vs hard
Warm vs cold
