This applies to Whirlpool and some Kenmore model refrigerators. If no water comes into the ice maker during the test for the water valve, check the fill tube for the ice maker next. Make sure it is not frozen solid, this will stop the water from reaching the ice maker.

This video will help you troubleshoot a no ice condition in your refrigerator. Sometimes the ice cubes can be hollow. This means you may not have enough water getting to the icemaker.
