Silverado Amplifier Install with Power Wire Routing Passenger Side Firewall

Trying to get your amplifier power wire easily through the firewall? In this video you will see how to access the interior on the passenger side of the truck through a rubber grommet giving you easy access for routing a power wire for an amplifier installation. You will be able to see a grommet directly next to the main wiring harness coming in. Up to a 4 gauge power wire will go through very easily by using a wire grabber or some other tool which serves the same purpose while using electrical tape to attach it and secure the hold on the wire. Using electrical tape or silicone sealant to cover the very small, if any, amount of space left around the wire once it is through the grommet works perfectly to complete the job. I installed a Kicker 4channel amp (CX360.4 Class AB) which is powering a set of Kicker components speakers (47KSS6904) in the front and a set of Kicker 6.5" 2way (47KSC6704) speakers in the rear. I also used dynamat covering as much surface area as possible inside the door panels. I installed a line output converter in the passenger side kick panel directly below the factory tuner (12" screen nonbose) where you can get all the speaker wires without having to run any on your own, unless you install component speakers which you will then need to run some wire for them. The system sounds great and was well worth the money over the factory stereo system! Please check out other great Silverado content on my channel!
