What I love MOST about shrimp chow mein is that you can make it your own! If you don't like cabbage you can use snap peas or bok choy, as well as thicker cut veges in your stir fry. Some people prefer thin egg noodles, whereas I love my noodles on the thicker side. My motto is "you make it how you like it!" Feel free to jot down my recipe...

For this recipe you'll need:

Egg Noodles (8 ounces)
Shrimp (1216 med or large)
1 Bell pepper (red or green)
1 Onion (medium)
1/4 Head of cabbage
4 Green onions
Shredded carrots (any amount that you prefer)
Ginger (grated, any amount that you prefer)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 cup bean sprouts
Sesame oil or Olive oil
Sesame seeds (optional)

*Sauce
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
