When Should a Trader Withdraw Profits? http://www.financialspreadbetting.c... PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE! How much of your profits to withdraw per month!?

When to withdraw gains! I'm a big advocate of withdrawing trading profits and let me explain. There are a lot of people who like to put in their trading account all the money they want to risk even if they're really trading in very small trade sizes. Others will only put in nominal amounts but I think you should deposit in your trading account the minimum you need to operate your trading plan plus a cushion. Things to consider:

Should you withdraw your trading profits or not?
1) Broker Risk counterparty risk in particular.
2) Temptation if i have 100k in my trading account and your trading plan requires you to only trade GBP25 a point and you're swing trading the DAX; you have a lot of buying power there and the temptation is to increase the position size.
3) Value

These are the things you would do well to have in your trading plan:
1) Max loss per month/year
2) Maximum position size
3) Maximum number of positions
4) Margin required
5) Small Cushion
