Yes! You absolutely should! Even for smoothcoated breeds, Allison always recommends that you use a hot dryer on your show dogs. Hot dryers use the higher heat (hotter than a velocity dryer) to lock in style body and volume, straight and smooth to get the coat bone dry, and to make sure you are not leaving any moisture in the coat that might lead to hot spots or a cold in the tail.
