Should I Hire a Business Lawyer For... | Business Lawyer Explains

Follow
Brett Cenkus

One of the most common questions Brett comes across online from business owners is if they need to hire a lawyer for whatever issue is on their mind.

The initially unsatisfying answer to that question is, "it depends".

Corporate lawyers are in the business of risk mitigation. As you'll see in the video, Brett says that the things that business attornies do for their clients fall into three buckets coulddo, shoulddo, and mustdo. Very little falls under the category of mustdo.

Fundamentally, whether you should hire a corporate attorney like myself comes down to a function of your exposure to risk and your budget.

Watch the video and let us know what you think.
