Asian grocery stores will always be one of my favourite places to be (aside from all the plastic and butchers' counters). I had Janelle with me so she was gracious enough to follow me around and film one of my favourite grocery stores so you can come shop with me! Nations in Hamilton is so abundant with produce and ingredients of my childhood and opens so many doors for people in Hamilton to try and cook foods from all around the world.


Obviously this was filmed earlier in March before the panicbuying and selfisolation. Hope you are all staying safe, working from home if you are able and practicing good hand hygiene. My new year's resolution to stop touching my face (for acne reasons lol) is really coming in handy these days! ♡ What does your logo mean? Why isn't your logo using the Vietnamese flag? Actually I use the South Vietnam flag because it represents Viet Kieu (Vietnamese immigrants after the fall of Saigon), my parents were both boat refugees before immigrating to Canada. My logo combines two parts of my identity: Maple leaf because I'm Canadian, and the South Vietnam flag because I'm Vietnamese :)
