Our spirits soar when we uncover an enchanting old fireplace concealed behind a wall, only to discover that the chimney leaks and it rains indoors now. And just when we thought upgrading to heated floors might save on the exorbitant heating bills the antiquated bathroom plumbing explodes in Dean’s face; proving that restoring an old house can be a crappy endeavor. Literally!
