The original Shin Megami Tensei was an extremely unique but very rough game that was difficult to recommend. The sequel SMT 2 complements the storytelling, themes and strong world building of its predecessor while also refining the major problems in the gameplay leading to a much superior sequel in practically every way, making it highly recommended to the dedicated series' fans.
