Using the Shell (Pay & Save) app should speed things up for you when paying for gas. And it suppose to be more secure. And also save you money when you fillup by earning Fuel Rewards.

You either can start up the app when you're at the Shell gas station OR anywhere, and it would assist you to the Shell gas station.

When you're at the station press "Payment or press Pay & Save" or the back arrow at the top to see "Pay the pump" and "Pay in the shop" buttons. Press "Pay at the Pump" so you don't have to go in the shop.

And once it located your Shell station, it will prompt you to input the pump number. Do so and confirm the payment. Of course, you must have already set the up the payment methods. Go into the settings to do so, if you haven't.

Don't be afraid to see the $1 charge. It's a temporary preauthorization from your credit company. It's to give you the green light to charge the card. Note: I never do see the $1 charge in my statements.
