In today's vlog, we address an important task separating the lambs from their mothers and moving them to a new pen. We noticed that these lambs, specifically from the Suffolk group, were struggling to navigate through the creep gate, which posed a risk of injury or entrapment. To ensure their safety, we decided it was time to wean them.

Around thirty lambs were carefully selected and relocated to another barn, where they will be housed until further sorting. This process allows us to determine which lambs will be kept as replacement sheep and which will be sold as market lambs. While attending to the bottlefed lambs, we also explain our method of determining the appropriate time for weaning and the reasons behind it.
