The late 1990s produced many squad based tactical shooters many of which gained substantial following. One of the lesser known titles was Shadow Company from 1999, a competent although unambitious game that still manages to offer the satisfaction of leading a mercenary team across the world, raking in cash and offering plenty of action despite its underwhelming story and limited gameplay options.
