Between the 18th 21st of April, the Severn Valley Railway held their annual Spring Steam Gala. The loco line up for this event consisted of 6 resident locos, 3 guest locos, plus a DMU running everyday except Thursday, and LNER Peppercorn A2 60532 Blue Peter on static display during all four days. Thoughout all 4 days visitors were treated to mainline full length passenger trains with smaller local passenger trains running over only part of the line hauled by the smaller guest locos GWR 1363 class 1369 and LBSC A1 72 Fenchurch. Demonstration freight trains were also running during the gala everyday except Sunday, usually being hauled by Lambton colliery 062t 29 or GWR 78xx 7812 Erlestoke Manor.
