Starting Sertraline can be scary, the internet is full of terrible reviews but what side effects are you likely to face, and how difficult will it be? I take 50mg of Sertraline daily and it has changed my life. Taking antidepressants has given me the headspace to find happiness rather than wait for the SSRI to make me happy.

The side effects were challenging at first because I was at my lowest, and suddenly getting hit by nausea or an upset stomach wasn't something I really wanted but for me, I knew the jounrey would be worth it.
I made this video to share the reality of the common side effects of Sertraline because it can be scary when you start and feel like the only person who has had to go through this process.

My own experience with Sertraline really began in January 2020. I had taken prior to that but because I know better than someone who has spent years qualifying as a GP, I decided to stop taking Zoloft and manage it on my own. What an idiot. So January 2020 I managed to get to my GP and ask for a prescription. This started a journey that I wouldn't change, despite the challenges.
