Fortunately I decided to bail out to the left at the start of Race 2. I finished second in Class and 12th overall out of 29 cars. My strategy was to maintain a 16 second lead in front of the 3rd place car for 35 minutes. This minimized the wear and tear on my car and minimized the risks. if the 3rd place car would have closed the gap, I would of pushed a bitter harder to maintain the 15 second gap.
