How to register as self employed! This is a simple step by step tutorial on how to register for self assessment in the UK, in other words becoming a sole trader. There are a number of services offering to register you for self assessment for a fee, but you shouldn't have to pay anyone. Registering as a sole trader couldn't be any easier, you simply have to follow the stepbystep process on the gov.uk website as shown in this video and you'll be up and running within a week or so.
