What is a Seizure?
A Seizure refers to an electrical disturbance in the brain. Seizures may cause a person to have Convulsions, but this is not always the same case.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), if a person is experiencing seizures, there are several firstaid habits, someone can do to help them.
Like:
Putting them on the floor, so they do not fall and injure themselves
Putting them onto their side so they can breathe more comfortable
Clearing the area of dense or sharp objects
Placing something soft and flat under their head
Loosening or removing anything around their neck, like a tie, necklace or scarf
Calling an ambulance if the Seizure lasts for more than 5 minutes
