The character design process can seem like a challenge at first but in this process, I wanted to explain the thought process behind every detail and how I get to the finished product. Breaking down the design issues and goals like this makes the process easier to get through without relying on guesswork.

This might not be that talked about in youtube tutorials in general but if you're doing a character design for a client. Being able to verbalize this process can massively help you in selling your design. Just doing a picture that looks good is only 50% of the work to get that character through the production line so I recommend not sweeping this aspect under the rug.
