Those are so true, and just a couple of the many wonderful quotes about Secretariat; who may just be the greatest thoroughbred champion ever. Just remember his Belmont! Though we do it anyway, it really is impossible to compare him to the other greats like Man O' War, Citation, and many others...and now, that list has grown, since we were blessed in 2015 to add American Pharoah to the record books. Isn't it exciting to see a Triple Crown winner again in our lifetime?!

I personally believe that spirits do not die, so surely Secretariat is flying, and galloping freely in Heaven with God, and Man O' War, and Citation, and all the other greats. God must certainly be marveling at his creation. He got it absolutely, perfectly spoton with this great champion.

It is unbelievable to think that, as of 2017, 43 years (!) have passed since his incredible Triple Crown victory.
