I have never tried tiny mussels for Sheepshead before, my recent underwater video footage revealed lots of fish chewing on scuzzies and piling debris. I will definitely be using mussels again, the fish loved them. Low ratio on hook sets, but I will have to keep experimenting with the best way to hook them. I would rather keep getting bites with less hook sets then be sitting for hours without a bite...I like ACTION! did try to put some in mesh bait bags, and nothing would touch them.

Let me know if you have ever tried using this type of bait before...What's your favorite winter Sheepshead bait?
