Launched December 2011, XLR8 is a Seawind 1000XL listed exclusively with YOTI.

XLR8 is owned and managed by a professional and very well respected boating company on Pittwater and importantly is regularly maintained and presents very well. The Seawind 1000XL is an extremely successful and popular model with over 200 built. This is an easy to handle, spacious, fun and quick cruising catamaran.
The saloon / cockpit space is combined in one single level which creates a large multi functional area allowing crew to share the area with loads of space to move around. This space has excellent visibility forward through the large windows (forward windows opening) and can be protected by the aft drop down covers, side clears and extended bimini. The saloon table converts to a king sized day bed. The twin wheels steering gives excellent visibility when sailing and all Raymarine instruments including colour chart potter and autopilot are reached from the starboard helm.
Accommodation in the port hull includes a large double berth, ¾ berth plus the generous head (electric) and shower aft. The starboard hull includes a private double aft cabin, big inline galley (with two burner gas stove and oven plus deep fridge and freezer) and another ¾ berth forward.
The XL’s feature extended transoms’ giving easy access from a dinghy or from the dock. The Targa bar houses a large stainless BBQ, bench seating, two solar panels and raises the RIB with outboard.
XLR8 is powered by twin Yamaha 4 stroke 9.9Hp engines plus one spare engine is included. Slipped, antifouled and engines serviced in just December ’17, she is ready to go.
In current NSW commercial survey, XLR8 could suit someone seeking the ability to earn charter income or simply someone seeking a well presenting, well maintained later model Seawind.
