How much time did the seal have left? A few weeks? Maybe a few months? We cannot answer that question, but we know that her entanglement would have killed two seals: her and her dependent pup. A whole "kindergarten seal gang" approaches us during the rescue; maybe her baby is among them. Hopefully, all youngsters will observe us while we rescue our first pup for the year. They need to learn that they should NEVER play with fishing lines!
