Seafoam motorcycle carb cleaning review (Yamaha V Star)

I cleaned out the carbs in my Yamaha V Star 1100 using a can of Seafoam. Here's what happened. Motorcycle carb cleaning done quickly.

It worked really well, didn't wreck the bike at all, and in the end I just had to make a minor adjustment on the carbs to have it running perfectly.

I rode that Vstar for the next year or two after cleaning out the carbs with Seafoam and it had no issues.

Stopped overheating too.

Some questions I answer:
*Is SeaFoam safe for motorcycles?
Yes, Seafom didn't cause any problems on my bikes carbs, but check with your manufacturer.

*Is SeaFoam safe for carburetors?
Yes, I used it on my carburetor. That's what it's used for.

*How do you use SeaFoam carb cleaner on a motorcycle?
In my case, I used the entire can in the tank and drained the gas before I put it in. Then I ran my bike for 1015m and burned a lot out, left it overnight, then rode it for a bit and added a full tank af gas.

*How often should I use SeaFoam in my motorcycle?
Not often. If your carbs continue to get problems it's probably time to clean them out manually. Seafoam can be used to stabilize gas for winter storage too.

You really can't use too much Seafoam in motorcycle. This is the best way on how to clean a motorcycle carburetor without removing it.
