It’s time to simplify our portrait sculpts! In this lesson you’ll learn how to sculpt the head as an abstraction with an extra layer of complexity and form. We’ll start by taking a blockin of the head and carefully add and define the secondary forms using a variety of techniques that you can use in your own work.

ASSIGNMENT:

Sculpt one of these head abstractions focusing on secondary forms, without getting too detailed. Some student work may be featured in critique videos so if you want your work featured be sure to do the assignment and submit it.
