Sky News host Rowan Dean says if Scott Morrison’s claims about his mental health are the “truth” then he “should not have been prime minister”.

Former prime minister Scott Morrison last week revealed he was treated with medication for anxiety during his time in office.

“That might be a bit of hyperbole to sell his book, or it might be the truth,” Mr Dean said.

“If it is the truth, then, I’m sorry, he should not have been prime minister.

“If the prime minister can’t get out of bed in the morning, he shouldn’t be doing that job.”
