Scene Kids and Scene Queens were everywhere from 2005 to around 2009 and if you were online at the time, it’s likely you’ll have had an encounter with the emo or scene world in some way or another.

Perhaps you even were a scene kid, devoting your life to Myspace and inhaling too much hairspray in the process. Or perhaps you stood on the outskirts, observing scene kids in their natural habitat from a safe distance.

But over the last few years, Scene Kids have returned! Only now, they're slightly different and surfacing on new platforms.

But what is a Scene Kid and why are they back?

Slap on that eyeliner, squeeze into those skinny jeans and lets travel back to the mid 2000s, where MySpace was all the rage and Tom was possibly the best friend we could have asked for and let's revisit the scene.
