Filmmaker Daniel Mejia (B.F.A., film and television, 2016) creates stories that encourage people to hope, dream, and believe in a better future. His work has been lauded with numerous honors, including Best Student Film Award at the 2017 Beverly Hills Film Festival, a nomination for Best Animated Children’s Program at the 2022 International Emmy Awards, and Mejor Producción Musical (Best Musical Production) at the 2024 Premios India Catalina Awards. Backed by his SCAD education, Mejia’s accomplishments secured him a spot on Forbes Colombia’s list of the Top 50 Creatives From Columbia 2022.
