We said goodbye to Chica. We had been preparing and she was with us almost 20 years, but it was still harder than I imagined. We spent her last couple weeks spoiling her with her favorite people food, heating pads on her favorite couch and taking her outside to bark at the wind. I held her when it was time to go and she was at peace. I know most goodbye videos are pics and videos of your loved ones but I have never been able to make those. Emotionally that is very difficult for me. I want to remember Chica like her thumbnail pics all fresh and full of attitude straight from the groomers. ❤
