Watch Charlie, Matt, Jacob and Cord rescue the rarest Dodge diesel truck produced. Dodge produced their own diesel engine from 19391941 and, offered it as an option in the WK series trucks. This particular truck is a 1941. There is currently one other 1941 Dodge diesel known to exist. The engine was based on the 331 cubic inch flathead gas L6 but features a special cylinder head and pistons. Injection pump was made by Excello (not zexel) and has bosch injectors. No turbocharger. Electrical system is a dual voltage setup. 24v for starting and 6v for body controls.
