The Samsung Galaxy S3 launched ten years ago in the summer of 2012 a very different time in mobile tech.

A decade on, it's a great time to look back at the legacy of this vintage phone. Because, aside from the goofy sound effects and chintzy plastic, this is a product with a fascinating story, a surprising historical connection, AND there are still people tinkering with it today!
