My mammoth 4x4 RV build is under way. This former beach rescue minipumper firetruck was operated by Rockaway Point Volunteer Fire Company. It had been rolled onto it's right side.
I decided to use a smaller slidein camper cap The Adventurer 80RB. The Arctic Fox 1150 is a much better fit for the 2012 Ram 4500 I just bought.
I will be converting this slidein to a fullbody RV (nonremovable). The jacks were already broke off anyway. I bought it from IAAI (Insurance Auto Auctions Inc). Its a 2018 RB80 with lots of upgrades and a custom wrap that already matches the truck!
The Arctic Fox is a 2011. I'll be converting it later for the 84" CA (longer wheel base) Ram 4500 4x4.

the cheapest overlander build to awesomeness factor... ~ $27,000 into this so far. Yeah no joke. Only 3,700 miles on the 2012 Ford F550 + Adventurer 80 RB ... DBL Designs single wheel conversion with 44" tires, double beadlock wheels, military axles with central tire inflation system CTIS and tons of expensive firetruck goodies leftover to sell. I am the ultimate cheapskate badass builder of trucks and other ill stuff.
