Padre Pio, or Francesco Forgione was born on May 25th, 1887 in Pietrelcina, Italy. He was born as the second child to a poor family of peasant farmers, who were also very religious. Francesco was a very religious child, and by the time he was five years old, he had started receiving visions from God! The visions he received were both Holy and Evil! Sometimes when he received the evil visions, he used to wake up from sleep and start crying.
