The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra only has 8GB of RAM for the baseline model and 12GB for higher models. The S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra started with 12GB and 16GB. So why did Samsung back down and go backwards on the amount of RAM? Because it wasn't necessary to begin with and was a sales gimmick.
