In March of this year, a new mass grave from the 1994 Tutsi genocide was discovered in southern Rwanda. Excavations have since continued, leading to the discovery of over 1,100 bodies. These victims were killed during massacres in the church and parish of Mibirizi in April 1994. It is the largest mass grave found in Rwanda since 2020. FRANCE 24’s Clément Di Roma reports.
