On July 17, 2020, we purchased a 2003 Jayco Jayflight 31 BHS RV, sort of on a whim. We had always talked about getting ourselves a camper, but figured it might be a couple years down the road yet. The opportunity presented itself, so we pulled it home.

When we originally purchased the camper, we had plans to redo the flooring and put some paint on the walls and cabinets. Once we started digging into it after a couple days, we found some water damage and determined more work was needed. It QUICKLY turned into a full blown gutted RV remodel! Our goal was to get it ready for use by Labor Day weekend, which we met by about 34 days!
