While Key West is our favorite place (it's where we met after all), we were too late to get a spot at Boyd's! ☹ We were, however, able to book at two Encore RV Parks in the Florida Keys so, we'll take it!

For our first week in the keys, we stayed at Sunshine Key RV Resort and Marina (www.rvonthego.com/florida/sunshinekeyrvresortmarina/). It's a very large and very nice resort about an hour from Key West. Taxes and fees included, the stay ran us about $150 a night, which is about average for the Keys in the winter.

Our first trip into Key West was to meet some friends who were Key West firsttimers, so we had to take them to our favorite brunch spot Blue Heaven!

After some delicious variations on Eggs Benedict, we walked over to the Hemingway House for a tour.

No Name Pub
No trip to key west would be complete without a trip to the No Name Pub! Of course, this was Eric And Tami's first time to No Name also. Tara and I have been going there on just about every trip to Key West for a long time and we have many dollar bills on the ceiling! It was great to have some time to hang out and chat with friends.

We got out on the bike for a couple of short rides, but inclement weather and Tara's health kept us on four wheels most of the time. But, that's okay, because we have another full week in the Keys, albeit a bit farther up the keys.
