In todays DIY, RV, How To video, I’m going to show how to redo your RV Fiberglass Roof and make it like new again. The material I used is Dicor Fiberglass Coating. I go into great detail of what I did and the necessary steps it takes to make your RV Fiberglass Roof like new again. Once completed, your RV Fiberglass Roof will be easy to clean, safe to walk on and reflect a ton of heat from the sun in the summer time. There’s no sense in using some other RVer home remedies that in reality will just need more up keep down the road. Once you prep your RV Fiberglass Roof properly like I show you and apply this Dicor Fiberglass Coating, the results are so stunting you’ll wish you had done this years ago. The Dicor Fiberglass Coating I applied to our RV Fiberglass Roof is now 5 years old and our roof still looks like new. Once you apply this Dicor Fiberglass Coating, you also DO NOT need to do anything else during the year. No applying 303. No waxing. No polishing. Just wash it with a good detail soap that you use on your coach. I also cover in this video the importance of annual Fiberglass Roof Maintenance by keeping your roof seams in top shape with a top notch Polyurethane Sealant in the rood seams. I actually show you how to remove the old roof sealant and replace it with this Polyurethane adhesive to the roof edge. If you do the steps and use the materials I show here, you wont ever have to worry about roof leaks. I also cover how to reseal all you roof vents and other items on the roof with Dicor Self Leveling Lap Sealant.
When using my Loctite PL S40 White Window, Door and Siding Polyurethane Sealant for sealing the roof edges, this product takes 7 days to totally cure. However, in 2 days it will have a nice dry skin over it to protect the sealant that's under it. So it's best to have at least a 2 or 3 day window of good dry weather when you apply it. So you can do this maintenance in a camp ground, just be sure you won't be leaving for at least days. If you dig out all the old sealant and replace with this sealant, it will take approx. 3 tubes to do a 35' RV. This product is also in my Amazon Store BELOW. It's perfect for this application.
BUT THERE’S MORE: EVEN IF WHAT YOU NEED IS NOT IN OUR AMAZON STORE, YOU CAN STILL CLICK OUR STORE LINK BELOW, THAT WILL TAKE YOU TO OUR STORE, SHOP AND SEARCH ON AMAZON LIKE YOU NORMALLY WOULD, PUT YOUR ITEMS IN THE CART AND CHECK OUT.
